These one and 2-bedroom serviced apartments within a superb, converted Victorian building are located in the heart of Sunderland city centre, opposite Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens. All apartments are individually designed and have everything expected of a 4-star hotel room with the added benefit of a fully-equipped kitchen with washer/dryer and dishwasher, a full range of kitchenware, as well as cleaning and a linen change. Spacious living areas have sumptuous leather sofas and TVs with digital TV and DVD players. There is no minimum or maximum stay. The Sunderland Stadium of Light and Aquatic Centre are only a 15 minutes’ walk away. The 100-year old Sunderland Empire Theatre is just 3 minutes’ walk away , and Sunderland Rail Station is only a 4-minute walk. Newcastle is 30 minutes’ drive away.

Check-In Information:
Please note that Hackett Property, who operate the apartments, are not located on site at Hawksley House. Keys are to be collected from their office, which is 2 minutes’ walk from the apartments at Hackett Property, Lynas House, Athenaeum Street, Sunderland, SR1 1NA.

Any key collections after 18:00, Monday to Friday; after 16:00 on Saturdays; and at any time on Sundays , must be arranged in advance. The management’s out-of-hours service will then make arrangements to meet guests at the desired time.
